- Go for Greens
Green vegetables are the powerhouses of the food world, stowed with vitamins and minerals. Go for raw. Chlorophyll is good for the liver, it helps it work more orderly which means toxins are processed better. A better functioning liver means less weight gain, less body odour and less nasty hangovers. Try out more liquid, be it juices or smoothies.
- Stress less
Feeling stressed causes the release of a hormone called cortisol, which in small doses is good for you, but when it hangs around too long, it can hurt rather than help. Too much of it suppresses your immune system, making you get sick easier, makes you crave fatty and sugary foods, damages the brain cells.
Make sure you take some time out for yourself to make sure you don’t become fat and sick.
Exercise releases Endorphins. It runs around your body and makes you happy. And when you are happy, you don’t want to staple thing to people’s head. Planned exercise is a great thing. So, my schedule for mornings are playing badminton for half-n-hour and brisk walking. Keeping it sorted. Also, activities like Zumba, yoga are fun and make you feel a more fit too. Though i don’t have much time for these classes but anyone who can spare some time from their day-to-day schedule can make a move.
- Water- Make it your Mother and attend her call every hour
Water is the optimum and most under-utilised anti-ageing product ever. Drink as much as you can, like literally as much. Being it 4-5 ltrs or 6ltrs, keep working at it and you’ll be surprised at how quickly you will adapt and a high water intake will become your norm.
- Elude wheat
Get rid of store bought cakes, breads, biscuits, pasta and flour. Replace it with buckwheat (related to rhubarb not wheat), brown rice, quinoa and spelt.
Just see the difference in yourself after considering all these points and look marvellous.
