Florida- I Call It My Second Home

Daytona Beach

When I think of vacations, I think of packing, the flight, drive, and relaxing mode. Not only is it very exciting to go on a vacation, but you get closer to the people that go along with and the people you are going to meet during the trip.
As I have my office in U.S.A, I usually visit there twice a year. The Florida culture is a reflection of influences and multiple inheritance. Cultural attractions, Theme Parks, Unbounding Beaches are mesmerising. It is a business oriented place where all are enough engrossed into their professional lives but they are mutually cordial and gives you a very warm feeling. I was so impressed by their working style. Five days continuous hustling and their weekends give you a sensation of boom and relaxation.

Daytona Beach, FL
I went to Daytona beach which is also called Mecca of Harley Davidson & NASCAR Race. It’s a collection of adventurous tales waiting to be written and told. The smooth and sandy beach hosts bike-rides, water-sports and clubbing @ razzle’s. The weather was mild and sunny. Went along with my friend at Indigo Lakes Golf Club and enjoyed it really well. The authentic Floribbean cuisine is finger-licking. Jamaican jerk chicken and Mojitos were an addition. Daytona flea and farmer’s market which was too wide and serving numerous products was a big show.

Orlando, FL
Moving down to Orlando, Central Florida is known as the lightning capital of the United States, as it experiences more lightning strikes than anywhere else in the U.S. Famous for Disneyland and Magic Kingdom. So what I am not a kid anymore , the pleasure of being there can bring the small child back in you. Clicked pictures all over in Universal Studios and with Walt Disney cartoons.

South Beach Miami, FL
Going further, I had a stay in Miami for a month. Roam around the entire city & beach side just to grasp their culture, adapt changes and feel like one of them. The inhabitants were so convivial and benevolent. Drawback was I did not know Spanish. Surprisingly, even the drivers and street men knew the language, but I managed anyhow.
The best food at Rockies Thai Kitchen tantalised my taste buds by unimaginative Indian Spices. Miami’s night life is what you look up to. 11Miami Club was full of enjoyment, craziness and endowment. Never seen a club as happening.
Time for Shopping then, a big time shopping spree. Collected loads of accessories and clothes for family and friends from the very famous Lincoln Road- Pedestrian road running east-west parallel between 2 streets in Miami Beach which was beautifully constructed.
My friend Jude, introduced me to a brand named- The Lucky Brand which I am using till now which is next to perfection.

Delray, FL
Last but not the least, at Delray Beach, the time spent was incredibly energizing, in those few seconds I could feel myself become almost giddy with anticipation. I did all of the activities – fishing, swimming, surfing and building sand castles. Trip to U.S.A always gives me fun memories to look ahead. So, All’s well that ends well!
